Embossed swirls

I really love dry embossing. I got a new light table, and it's amazing. There's so much space, it's so bright, and it's not dangerous (the old one was!). I was trying to reproduce the look of the Cuttlebug Swirl Embossing Folder using the Bodacious Bouquet Brass Template. I'm really happy with how the card turned out. I also used the corner rounder on my oval to make it scalloped. This card is going to go to the lady at work who is retiring tomorrow and I am her replacement. We are having a little party in her honour tomorrow, so I wanted to make something special.

  2. That's a beautiful card. I would love to see how you use the corner rounder to make scalloped edges. I've been trying to get my hands on a scalloped oval punch but they are always out of stock. Have a happy holiday!

  3. I am glad to see you try this. I thought about doing the same thing as I kept picking up and putting down the Cuttlebug box at Mike's yesterday with the 40% coupon in my pocket. Left empty handed...still thinking about it!
