Eek, I'm it!

First, I figured I'd post my card for those that don't care to read about any personal mumbo-jumbo. This was one I made back in September. It was for a Dirty Dozen sketch challenge, but I didn't think it was worthy. I started this one first with some Mellow paper. I looked at it and tried to pull out the closest SU! colours. I stamped a bunch of the flowers on the white, and leaves on the red. It's pretty basic (which was why I never uploaded it before).

Supplies:
Stamps: Beautiful Blooms (papertrey ink)
Ink: Olive, Pumpkin, Turquoise, Chocolate, Ruby
Paper: White, Chocolate, Mellow 6x6 paper pad (stripes & red)
Accessories, etc.: hodgepodge hardware (pewter), saddle stitched ribbon, eyelets

So, I was tagged today, but it was a tag I hadn't seen yet, so I figured I'd give it a go. Kim from Clearly Inspired tagged me. What we do is list out 10, 20 and 30 years ago and what we were doing at that time. I find this terribly amusing.

Okay, 10 years ago, it was 1997, I was 13 years old, in grade 8. I found a journal entry from Oct.28/97. I figure that's close enough. It's in pink ink, classic 8th grader, hey? Apparently I was in a volleyball tournament at Highbury that day. There's also some cheesy grade 8 crush material, too funny to go back and read that. Equally funny, since I would have been mortified to ever share some of my journal (I've been keeping one since 1995). There had just been a dance, and I danced with this one boy 4 times. I wrote down one of our conversations, basically I was talking about how my family had been going to move somewhere. Then he says, "Well, I'm glad you didn't, because I wouldn't be dancing with you right now". How sweet is that. And I have no idea whatever happened to that guy. I think we went to the same high school, and then he just kind of dropped off the planet...

20 years ago. Hmm, it was 1987, I was 3. I imagine I was busy drawing with smelly, fruity markers, and getting ready to be a witch or a fairy princess for Halloween.

30 years ago. I wasn't even a twinkle in my parents' eyes. It was 1977, my parents were about to get married- Dec.23.

That was a relatively painless tagging. I'm heading out of town this weekend, so I'll likely not have an update until Monday.
