Some Mother's Day Cards

This weekend I attended my first ever crop. It was held because of Scrapbooking Day, however I didn't do any pages, just cards, lots of them. I can't believe how productive I actually was! It was a lot of fun. It was nice to meet some new people interested in the same stuff as me. Here are the 3 mother's day cards I made:

This one is for my Mom. I used stamps from the store that the crop was at Scrapbooking By Design. I forgot to note who made these stamps, they were clear stamps though. I really like that background though, I would consider picking it up in the future...

This one is for one my grandmothers. From this view, the biggest flower is covering the "s", but when looking at the card you can see it no problem. The stamp is by Stamp Barn. The flowers were part of the "welcome pack" for attending the crop, and the buttons are from a lady there. She saw me using buttons on Friday, so she said she'd bring a big bag of them for me, since she never uses them. These 3 buttons matched the orchid opulence ink quite nicely.

This card also features some stamps from the store's stash. I forget who makes this stamp, either Penny Black or Hero Arts. It was called Bloom, I think... Anyway, this card is for the other Grandma. I haven't yet decided which is going to whom.

All this week I should have plenty of updates from all the items I made these past few days, which is good, since I still have to unpack all my stuff!

  1. These are lovely...moms and grandmas would love these!

  2. I did the exact same thing on NSD - I think some of the die-hard scappers thought I was a bit wacky :)

These cards are all really nice, and I *LOVE* the first one with. Those rich colors are just lovely!!
